Description : Plus Series Anthracite+ RTV Gasket Maker is specially formulated one part silicone compound that cures to form a “formed-in-place” rubber seal for mechanical assemblies. It offers excellent toughness, heat resistant and able to sustain thermal cycling without shrinking or cracking. FEATURES: -Low odor neutral curing system. -Non-corrosive to metals. -Non-corrosive to automobiles. -Outstanding high temperature resistant up till 250 °c. -Excellent gunnability (-20°c to 50°c). -Retains effective properties in contact with automotive fluids. (Note: not recommended for parts in contact with gasoline) USES: -High temperature resistant gasket and joint sealing. -Used as a gasket maker or dressing for valve covers,transmission pans, timing gear covers, oil pans,thermostat housing. APPLICATION: -Remove old gasket material from surfaces thoroughly. -Clean surface with residue-free solvent and allow surface to dry. -Cut nozzle to desired size. -Squeeze tube to form a continuous and even bead to the perimeter of mating surface and all bolt holes. -Tool within 5 minutes. -Tightened to the required torque, do not over tighten. -clean off excess sealant with mineral spirits. CURING TIME: PLUS SERIES ANTHRACITE+ RTV GASKET MAKER WILL TACK FREE IN APPROXIMATELY 5 MINUTES AND WILL CURE TO A DEPTH OF 13MM WHITIN 7 DAYS. LONGER CURING TIME MAY BE NECESSARY IN DRY AND LOW HUMIDITY AREA.
